If you have multiple wired and wireless printers in your business, such as a photo printer, a laser printer, and a multifunction printer, you can connect them all to your computer to print everything as quickly as possible. Because your computer connects to each printer via a port, you can easily locate the port for each printer if you need to troubleshoot the printer or the connection between the printer and the computer.
1.Click Start and then click “Control Panel.”
2.Click the “View devices and printers” link in the Hardware and Sound section to view all printers connected to your computer.
3.Right-click the printer that interests you and select “Printer Properties” from the context menu to open the printer’s Properties window.
4.Click the “Ports” tab to view the ports used by your printer and click “OK” to close the window after you find the port.
